Wedding Photography 29th & 30th June, Caerhays.

Eloise & Merijn held their wedding at The Vean, a shooting lodge on the Caerhays Estate. Things kicked off with a civil ceremony on the 29th June, attended by just 20 family and close friends. This was followed on the 30th June by a blessing in the gorgeous St Michael’s Church in Caerhays village and was attended by 80 people who’d travelled here from France and Holland. Eloise & Merijn had visited this part of the South Cornish coast on their holidays and fallen in love with it, hence they had chosen the beautiful Vean as their venue. It was a pleasure to photograph, the bride and groom were probably the most relaxed I’ve ever met! Also I loved the use of orange as the colour scheme, unusual and striking. The sunshine came with only the odd rain cloud darkening the sky but never for very long. I must mention the amazing flowers, provided by Susanne from the Blue Carrot, they were stunning. The catering was supplied by the brilliant Ding from Event Cuisine. Thank you to Eloise & Merijn for having me along as photographer, it was a brilliant couple of days!
